Cloud detection in the cloud

This web page shows some illustrative results of the method for multitemporal cloud masking and estimation of a cloud-free image proposed in Gomez-Chova et al. (2017) using the google earth engine (GEE) platform. It has been developed in the framework of the projects (MINECO-ERDF, TEC2016-77741-R) and the GEE Award project titled Cloud detection in the cloud (L. Gomez-Chova).

An illustrative example of the implementation and code for a Landsat 8 image is shown in this report. The same procedure was followed using the Landsat 8 collection for the years 2015 and 2016 of a region of interest on the GEE platform and results are showed bellow.
